Susan is the real estate agent extraordinaire for EHI Real Estate. She wanted to do something a little different with her portrait, to make her marketing stand out. So on Wednesday (after waiting out the snow, ice and rain) we went down to my FAVORITE building downtown - The Seattle Public Library! We walked around in the bright sun and got some fantastic shots - check them out!
On December 15th - Gretchen & Skip had a romantic wedding on the beach in Maui ~ they wanted to share the celebration with all of their friends and family who weren’t able to make it. So, on Saturday January 13th (a day filled with snow!) they held a wonderful reception at the Seattle Tennis Club.
There were so many cute kids!
But, my favorite part was the reactions from the toasts!! (and the dancing!!)
Hello all! Since starting this blog only a few days ago - I wanted to catch you up on a few of the shoots that were SO much fun over the past couple of months. A friend of mine was pregnant and wanted to do some classic black and white belly images with a black background - but a few days before the shoot she was put on bedrest so the portrait was delayed. After a week in bed, she was feeling better, so I snuck over there and we did about 20 minutes of shooting and came up with some fabulous shots I’m sure she will treasure forever!

Another reason these images will be incredibly special to her - is that she delivered the baby this very same day!!! (gives you chills doesn’t it!!)
A very short two weeks later - I couldn’t wait to go back and photograph the little angel in person. Here are some of my favorite shots ~
Hello all! If you are wondering what I’ve been up to this week - here it is! Kurtis Lowe is a sales rep for 12 different publishers and is being featured in Pages Magazine down in California. They wanted some action portraits of Kurtis at work, so we spent some time at the Magnolia Bookstore with one of his favorite store owners Georgiana. This type of shoot is a little out of the “norm” for me - I had a great time!
