Family Magazine! June 27, 2007

So, if you are ever in Chehalis or the surrounding area - you’ll have to pick up a copy of Family Magazine because one of my beautiful nieces Aneikha is on the cover!!  Fun!!  Chantel Wilson the Creative Director, Editor (and friend of mine!) called a couple of weeks ago, they were in a pinch and needed a baby photo for the cover.  So I of course sent her to the blog where I now post ALL of the fun things I do (its so addicting!!) her and the creative team chose this image and here we are!!

Seattle Bride hits the stands! June 22, 2007

You’ve been holding your breath; anxiously waiting and waiting and finally its here! The party was last night at the new and gorgeous Pan Pacific Hotel where they announced all of the best of 2007 vendors and released the latest copy of our favorite wedding magazine - Seattle Bride! So quick run out to the stores and flip to page 158 to see my most recent ad - or just in case you are too excited and want to see it right now here is a sneak preview. =)

Thankfully Elisa and Jeff are ridiculously cute and made this ad so great!

Jeff Davies June 18, 2007

Jeff and I met about a year ago last April at a beautiful wedding up at the Smith Tower he is in the incredible band that was playing that evening headed up by Sy Turner. We exchanged cards and then a few emails talking about doing a portrait session of him for his music promo and also for the dating sites he is involved with.

We decided to do the portrait down at the Seattle Center, specifically at the EMP, which I think was perfect for Jeff!! We had SO much fun in the hour and a half we were down there walking around - he has so many great stories…. I think we spent more time talking than photographing! Here are a couple of my favorite images from the morning - Enjoy!

Engaged ~ Robin & Tony! June 8, 2007

Robin & Tony were engaged about a year ago in the romantic city of London, funny enough they were looking through the travel images on my website and found one of the exact place he proposed!! How great is that? Now they are planning a beautiful wedding for this summer in Seattle.

Two weeks ago on one of our first hot days we spent about an hour walking around at the Arboretum and had so much fun! Robin & Tony are so sweet together, we got some really great shots (I can’t wait for the big day!) - check them out!

Aniekha!! June 2, 2007

About a year and a half ago the Hull family was blessed with yet one more BEAUTIFUL girl - Aneikha. So now my lucky lucky parents have not only three daughters… but three granddaughters too! That sounds like trouble to me!! About a month ago my little (yet taller) sister Mary, Aneikha & I headed over to Greenlake to play (and take photos of course). We had so much fun - and Aneikha couldn’t have been more perfect, full of giggles and silliness which is what we love most about little girls. =) Enjoy!

Seattle’s Greatest DJ (and the greatest website too!) June 1, 2007

Hello!

So, many of you know that each and every weekend (well most weekends anyway) I go to a wedding (or three) - as a photographer or a guest & sometimes both. So I get to see people (and places) in action - florists, coordinators, venues, bands, DJ’s, officiants, everyone! Over the past 6 (or so) years in this wild world of weddings, I’ve learned that the wedding goes much smoother - is more fun and MUCH more organized when you get the right people on the job. I feel like I’ve met a few of the “right” people and love to work with them - so of course I refer them to all of my brides. =)

The guy I have to give props to this week is Austin Beaver with NiteLite Entertainment - he is Seattle’s (and possibly the world’s) greatest DJ. Austin is the ONLY DJ I have ever seen be on a location early to set up - he is always prepared and is such a pleasure to be around. Then…. you get to see him work - wow! He is witty, charming and definitely the guy you want to be running the show on your big day!  - He recently released a new website that I LOVE!!  Designed by LT Productions, and photography by (of course) Barbie Hull - you have to check this site out!!
