Miriam & Chris ~ Engaged!! August 28, 2007

Engagement photos are so fun - they give us time to get to know each other (for me) to see how each couple interacts (for you) to see how I am behind the camera.

From the very first meeting Chris, Miriam and I connected, we stayed and chatted way too long (is there such a thing??) about so many things; work, life…weddings!! Then a couple of weeks ago we met up at Volunteer Park - {The very place he proposed to her!!! YAY!!} for their engagement session. We twirled our way through the ponds, trails, dahlias & layed on the grass - (too fun!) It was a perfectly sunny afternoon (that we can never have too many of) and here are a few of the photos we took that day….. Enjoy!!

Erin & Pete ~ Engaged!!! August 25, 2007

Oh-my-goodness!! I can’t believe how behind I am in the blogging…. prepared to be overloaded with superfabulous images in the next two weeks!!

Erin & Pete are getting married in …. (wow) two and a half very short weeks - I cannot wait!! These two are so fun to photograph - so silly together - it was hard choosing the images they are so cute!), we spent about an hourish walking around (okay dancing around) the Seattle Waterfront area, dipping, twirling and having too much fun!

Thank God For Little Girls!!! August 24, 2007

Sarah & Emma are the nieces of my very good friend Leslie Gallaher - {a fabulous massage therapist known as the “Ten Fingers of Truth“}   These two girls are so sweet and loving it is the easiest thing in the world to photograph them.  =)  They both love dressing up and playing bride (who doesn’t?  Really!)  it was their mom’s idea to do the photo shoot with them doing one of their favorite things, and it was their favorite Aunt Leslie’s idea to make the veils and little bouquets. (Nice work Aunt Leslie!!)

Aarika & Ryan ~ Married!!! August 16, 2007

On July 14th down at the Country Club in Lakewood Aarika & Ryan tied the knot!!  Over the past year and a half, Aarika has been planning her wedding from Arizona so we have exchanged many emails and a few phone calls and gotten to know each other,  she is such a sweet girl and after meeting Ryan can see that they are just perfect for each other.

Speaking of perfect, it was a perfect (and not too hot) July afternoon - and the entire day was so great!  The getting ready was a lot fun -   while the girls were bustling around, getting ready and giggling in the back -  the boys where out playing poker waiting for the festivities to start.  Thanks to the help of the coordinator at the country club - everything was perfectly in place long before starting time.

The dancing was DEFINITELY a highlight - the DJ (George Hollis with Gotta Dance Productions) was fun and kept everyone on the dance floor for hours, what a fun bunch of dancers!!!   (I LOVE the photo of Aarika and her Dad dancing -without a doubt a tear-filled moment!

Aarika’s veil was made specially for her by  her loving grandmother (so pretty!!) her three sisters have already placed their orders.  =)

Oh yeah!! I forgot to mention - she had the greatest colorful signature drinks being passed around… Yum!!!

Emerson turns ONE!! August 7, 2007

Emerson turned one a couple of months ago and she has grown into such a wonderful little girl!! Ella (her beautiful 4 1/2 year old sister) helped her celebrate - unfortunately I wasn’t there for the actual party… so we re-created it with friends, messy and wonderful chocolate cupcakes - and of course finished off with a fun bath (soap horns included of course!!)

This first image is from 1 year ago - her birth announcement - so you can see how much she has grown!!

I really enjoy spending time with Tess & her fabulous family - photographing these girls is always a party!!
