Thank you so much to Spur for hosting such an amazing party!! It was amazing!! Thank you also for those people who were able to come to Spur last night! It was great seeing everyone! The images are on display (best viewing is after dark) for the next month or so – so if you have time for a drink & some delicious food, I would HIGHLY recommend it!!
For those of you who are wonderful supporters from out of town – I completely understand and give you a pass, but wanted you to enjoy the show as well! Here you go:

Today is the day!! Friday the 13th – so put on your lucky walking shoes & come down to Greenwood for the ART WALK!
Specifically – you should stop in and visit Terra Bella Flowers, (near the corner of 85th & Greenwood Ave) you will see beautiful flowers, fabulous decor for your house and of course some beautiful wedding images on the walls!
Here are a few shots I took while Ryan hung the photos. (thank you Ryan!!)

This is Melissa Feveyear the owner of Terra Bella Flowers – she is a true artist and does amazing work!

I was lucky enough to spend the new year in Anchorage with my silly parents (Hi guys!!) they were nice enough to drive me all over town stopping in crazy places so I could jump out and take photos. One day – my Mom was in charge of the Holga and we were outside in -22 degree temps!! No way right?!
We are still waiting for the Holga images to be developed (next week sometime), but for now here are a few of my favorites from the holiday in AK.

The moon was so great while I was there and if you look closely to the left of the image – you can see Mars!!

I love the fog! This is normally a great lookout point to see the city of Anchorage, but this night you can barely see the mountains!

This is a fun sculpture outside of the Library I could not believe the amazing icicles that formed there!!

The moose – they’re everywhere!!

This year Alaska is celebrating its 50th year as a state – and so they had an amazing ice sculpture in the city park-which they turned into an ice skating rink!

Oh gee… even the sculptures can see Russia from their back yard!!

This was the sunset right behind the airport about 4pm on January 1st – BEAUTIFUL!!!!
On Saturday October 11th Josh Keyes and MANY of his fabulous friends and family met at the OKOK Gallery over in Ballard (such a cool space!) to show everyone his newest works of art. He had quite a few paintings on the wall and a gorgeous installation (with the butterflies) that people were so amazed by!
This show will be up until November 1st – if you want to stop by and visit, here is the info:
5107 Ballard Ave NW
Seattle, WA 98107
Here are a few photos of the setting up as well as the opening:
This is one of my favorites – you HAVE to see it in person to see all of the details!!
Bret – our favorite videographer!
The super sweet Whitney Keyes from The Whitney & Wyatt show conducted an interview (can’t wait to see it online!) with her brother – she is one of the greatest PR & Marketing gurus out there!
This little red dot under each print means that someone is interested in purchasing this print. (there were red dots EVERYWHERE!!)
Above is Josh, Barbie & Whitney Keyes - (thats right – there were 3 Barbies at the party!!)
Okay… this next photo is NOT for the weak…. (laurel – close your eyes)
This is the new OKOK mascott, he lives in the corner and eats LOUDLY – EEWWW!!! (yes that is a huge bug hanging out of his mouth. EW.)
Thank you SO much to everyone who was able to make it to the opening in Madison Park on Tuesday – it was a huge success!! So many friends!!
Heather Scearce of Conscious Body Pilates was so gracious as to host the party – Kate Thomson of Seasonal Palate was the PERFECT person to cater the event!!
We even had a fun little drawing (because i love drawings!!) Kiley Gustafson was the winner! He gets to choose any one of the images from the show! Kiley and his beautiful bride Voshte just celebrated their One Year Anniversary!! Congratulations!!
For all of you who weren’t able to make it, not to worry…. here are all of the photos displayed. =)
Enjoy!!

Get your calendars out – there is going to be a fun fun party – Hosted by Heather Scearce at her studio – Conscious Body Pilates – 2921 Madison Ave E., Seattle, WA 98122 {MAP}
Tuesday December 4th – 7pm
Here is a link to the invite: {INVITE}
Not that we need any excuses to party, but there will be tropical snacks & beverages brought by the greatest caterer in all the land Kate Thomson of Seasonal Palate – loads of fabulous people to chat with and a few good pieces of art hanging on the wall. There will be 10-12 images from my trip to Costa Rica hanging on the wall.
Fun times – hope to see you there!!
Here’s a little sneak peak -
Last year when I moved to Fremont, I had to find a new gym (Magnolia is apparently WAY to far to travel to work out). After going to check out many different places that were okay – I found somewhere I couldn’t live without! Anytime Fitness (on Fremont Ave.)
Noel Nishi is the owner and he is fabulous!! Not only can I work out anytime with my little key card (hence the name) but the people are friendly and the owner Noel is very involved!! He greets everyone by name (how he remembers everyone, I’ll never know) and is all about promoting his customers businesses.
There is a big screen TV right at the entrance of the gym that plays a constant slideshow with advertisements of people who work out there and own businesses. (I just found out that Paul Hinderlie installed all of it!!) He also asked me a couple of weeks ago if I would be interested in hanging some of my work in the entrance of the gym (which of course I was!)
If you are looking for a place to work out in Fremont (and view art)– this really is the greatest place!
Here are some photos of the gym and of the work displayed there.

(it was hard to get one angle with good lighting on all the frames…. so you’ll just have to go in and check them out!)

This is a bumper sticker I saw on a car parked outside the gym – SO cool (and true too!)
