Last week I went to the CRAVE party…. WOW is all I can really say. WOW. Melody Biringer & her team of ridiculously cute girls is AMAZING. Three words – AH MAY ZING!!
So, parties are fun – you get to dress up, add a few pink cockails, feather boas all around – then comes the shopping (oooh i love shopping!) get your nails done and your hair floofed (gorgeous), grab a cupcake and a seat because now you get to watch the show! There are models walking the runway, crazy performances from VERY flexible people, dancing – singing, FIREMAN (and women) dancing on stage all that AND a goodie bag. Now you believe me. WOW!!
Here are a few photos from the evening, enjoy! (and don’t miss out on the next one!)

Chosen Charity: Brides Against Breast Cancer & The Making Memories Foundation
The fight for the cure is an important one, but we also have to remember for some – the cure won’t come soon enough. It is sad, but true and we have to help them celebrate life!! By granting a wish we can send a family on vacation for one last time – create some lasting and amazing memories together. In 2008 we raised $30,000 and were able to grant these wishes:
* Susan and her family of 8 were able to have one last family vacation in Hawaii
* Heather and her family of 6 were able to see Mickey Mouse at Disney World
* Sharon’s wish was for her family of 4 to go to Hawaii
* Together with Brides Against Breast Cancer and The Making Memories Foundation, we granted Lisa’s last wish of having her dream wedding in Port Orchard
* We sent Susan and her son to Key West for one final good-bye.
Our goal in 2009 is to raise $50,000 and with your help we can reach it!!!
On May 21st of this year (yes I am THAT behind in my blogging!) Rachael Brandt (the newest event planner with the Jewish Federation) hosted a Casino Night to raise money for the children of Israel – at the fabulous Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle the evening was a great success!! There were tables of fun games like craps, blackjack, roulette and a Texas Hold’em tourny – the prizes were great! A laptop, 2 nights at a vegas casino/hotel wine tasting – not to mention Chocolopolis gave a GREAT lesson on chocolate (yummmmm) where it comes from and how it is made – with tastings (double yummmm) and Vida Spa was there with chairs set up for hand massage and neck massage…. with all of this fabulousness it was hard to decide where to spend my time! OH YEAH! Not to mention the DELICIOUS spread of food – Yummmmm! (I’m really getting hungry now).
So the evening was a huge success and hopefully they do it again next year – I know I’d love to go! Here is a collage of photos from the evening:

Brides Against Breast Cancer is an amazing organization – they collect gowns that are new & lightly used from girls, designers and big chains all over the country and hold gown sales. So the ladies getting married can get a great deal on their dress and help grant wishes!! Get Hitched Give Hope along with many other charities work together to raise money for these fabulous folks!! Check out their site to learn more: http://bridesagainstbreastcancer.org/
In February of this year Brenda and the fabulous friends in Washington State had a special viewing for a special family – Lisa & her three daughters came to pick out a dress for Lisa’s wedding – they arrived at the Bellevue Hilton in a Limo & were greeted with pink ribbon cupcakes, a cart filled with gifts from Macy’s & of course all of the fabulous volunteers at The Making Memories Foundation. You see – Lisa & her family are wish recipients!
Eliza Truitt & I were able to go out and photograph the day – ere are a few photos from the day of trying on dresses, fabulous!!

Marina Rockinger – Reporter & Anchor from Komo 1000 news covered the story – www.komonews.com

Talk about fabulous networking events!! Last night I took photos at Girl Power Hour – it was at the hidden belltown bar See Sound Lounge, the charity was The Ruby Room and the fabulous speaker was my very favorite – Whitney Keyes! Sooo – part of Whitney’s presentation was to ask people what their “dream goal” for the year was – it could be anything. She pulled me up to the mic (eeek!!) and asked me to share my goal – many of you know it. I would LOVE to photograph a wedding in Fiji (fabulous!). Funny enough, a gal (and fellow photog) Amanda who I had met briefly earlier in the night and also at Get Hitched Give Hope came up to me afterwards and said (this is exciting, get excited!) her Dad & Uncle own a resort in Fiji!! No WAY!! She said I could email her and she would connect me! Look out – dream come true!!

So the Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle had their first annual wedding show last night and it was SO much fun!! If you haven’t been there, you should really check it out! There are so many gorgeous rooms, beautiful furniture & art everywhere the perfect place for a wedding, party or a night out!

The rooms were set up to show you what a wedding could look like there – it was GORGEOUS!! The famous John Gardner with Aria Floral rocked the place with his gorgeous flowers, candles, lighting and beautiful setups. You would be lucky to have John as your designer – he is FABULOUS!!

Both of Seattle’s local wedding magazines Seattle Bride & Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom were given out to all people who came in the door.

La Belle Elaine had three beautiful gowns on display and two gorgeous gals walking around showing the dresses in action – beautiful!

Bonnie from Renaissance Cakes had two very delicious looking cakes on display and were handing out samples – YUM!!

Rosaline Hampton was the hair & makeup artist for the evening and she is FABULOUS oh my! I was blown away by the work she did that night and of course by her very edgy portfolio!

John Gardner had a ceremony setup with beautiful jewels, candles & flower pedals overflowing – breathtaking!!

Brandy with Abaloria Jewelry had a gorgeous display – I LOVE her work (and wear my earrings all the time!!)

This was my table – lots of photos and starbursts! (yum!)

This was a fun little loungy room where Jones Soda had a display setup – how fun to see your photos on the label!!

Oooh – Vida had a spa room set up with chair massage, arm massage, tea & wonderfully scented lotions. So relaxing!

These were the two gorgeous models for the evening – I had SO much fun talking with them!! Sheila was so outgoing, she met everyone who walked through the door and was introducing them to the appropriate people. Love it!!

What a gorgeous view from the terrace – a perfect place for an outdoor ceremony (specially on New Years to see the fireworks!!)

Thanks to Monir Zandghoreishi this past Friday night (February 13th) was the night of Project Red Dress – it was AMAZING! So many talented student designers from different fashion schools came together at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel (downtown Seattle) to compete in a fashion show to create awareness of heart disease in both men and women. There were some truly amazing speakers, judges and always the fabulous guests!!
Here are some shots of the evening, there were too many to narrow it down, so I made them little thumbnails so you can see all the fun of the evening!! (by just clicking on the image you want to see!)
Gene Juarez technicians volunteered to do the hair & makeup (GORGEOUS!) The pre-party was at the COOLEST place in Seattle to buy clutches, bags, purses – all the fabulous things a gal needs – CLUTCH! The hostesses for the evening were my VERY favorite girls from the LADIES ROOM – Brooke & Monti!! Oh – and you’ll love this one, one of the fabulous judges was Nick Verreos from PROJECT RUNWAY!! whoohoo!!
I hope you love the photos – because I had a GREAT time!!
