I was lucky enough to spend the new year in Anchorage with my silly parents (Hi guys!!) they were nice enough to drive me all over town stopping in crazy places so I could jump out and take photos. One day – my Mom was in charge of the Holga and we were outside in -22 degree temps!! No way right?!
We are still waiting for the Holga images to be developed (next week sometime), but for now here are a few of my favorites from the holiday in AK.

The moon was so great while I was there and if you look closely to the left of the image – you can see Mars!!

I love the fog! This is normally a great lookout point to see the city of Anchorage, but this night you can barely see the mountains!

This is a fun sculpture outside of the Library I could not believe the amazing icicles that formed there!!

The moose – they’re everywhere!!

This year Alaska is celebrating its 50th year as a state – and so they had an amazing ice sculpture in the city park-which they turned into an ice skating rink!

Oh gee… even the sculptures can see Russia from their back yard!!

This was the sunset right behind the airport about 4pm on January 1st – BEAUTIFUL!!!!
The Chadwick family has a new addition – baby Riley! He is two months old and SOOOO cute, he loves smiling, telling stories and bouncing on the yoga ball. =) This is the first of a three part series, so you’ll get to see little Riley change over his first year. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the morning. (he loves the morning time!)
Thank you SO much to everyone who was able to make it to the opening in Madison Park on Tuesday – it was a huge success!! So many friends!!
Heather Scearce of Conscious Body Pilates was so gracious as to host the party – Kate Thomson of Seasonal Palate was the PERFECT person to cater the event!!
We even had a fun little drawing (because i love drawings!!) Kiley Gustafson was the winner! He gets to choose any one of the images from the show! Kiley and his beautiful bride Voshte just celebrated their One Year Anniversary!! Congratulations!!
For all of you who weren’t able to make it, not to worry…. here are all of the photos displayed. =)
Enjoy!!

Sarah, Kenny & the cutest smiley little boy ever – Joey called me up a couple of weeks ago and we headed out for a family portrait session. We went down to the Arboretum and had a great time getting many different poses & clothing changes in the search of the perfect family photo for the holiday card.
It wasn’t until ½ way through our session that I found out that Sarah is in fact Sarah Doucette the fabulous photographer!! Here’s a link to her site http://www.sarahdoucette.com.
It has been so fun getting to know Sarah & her family & I look forward to spending more time with them!!
Enoy!!

A couple of weeks ago – Jannine, Rich, Milo, Roxie & I put our rubber boots on
Jannine & I had been talking about taking some family photos for this years holiday card – we weren’t exactly sure what we were going to do and she mentioned they were going to the Pumpkin Patch. What a great idea!! So one fabulously sunny Sunday morning we pulled on our rubber boots and headed over to Jubilee Farms in Snohomish County all ready to find a pumpkin!
Jannine, Rich, Milo, Roxie & I had a fabulous time looking at the pigs & turkeys, riding on the covered wagons and of course picking the best pumpkin in the patch!
Here are a few of the highlights of the day. =)
Enjoy!
