Baby Michael! July 3, 2008

Hey there!  I haven’t been able to blog lately because work has been insane (good insane!) so many portraits/weddings/parties so little time!  So, the next couple of weeks there are going to be a TON of posts - so put your picture viewing hats on and enjoy!

This first blog post is a favorite baby of mine - my super cute little nephew Michael David Stokes, you may remember his newborn photos (HERE) and now it is time for his three month photos - too fun!

Last night - we went to Michael and his two beautiful big sisters (Tonia & Kaia) first baseball game.  =)  The Mariners beat the Blue Jays 4-2,  it was a great game…. and we of course got on the big screen!  FUN!

The Tate Family! June 10, 2008

Lori, Byron & Camber were very brave this week as we made the decision to take our photos in the rain!! We played mainly in their backyard but snapped a couple of fun shots at the lookout point just a few blocks from their home. It was SO fun singing and dancing along with them (that REALLY made Camber laugh). It is always so fun photographing a family who just loves being together!

Wallingford Art Walk! June 4, 2008

Today is the day ~ (June 4th) that the neighborhood of Wallingford hosts the first Wednesday ArtWalk! So head on over to the Wallingford area (45th & Wallingford is a good place to start) there will be farmers markets, and all cafe’s, shops, and bars will be open with local artists featured in each location. I also hear that Trophy Cupcake has a Wednesday only option of a blueberry cupcake with fresh blueberries from the farmers market!! YUM!!!

Yours truly will be featured at Fuel Coffee 1705 N. 45th St ~ (right by the BITCH store, everyone seems to know that one). A few of my portrait images will be hanging there this month.

So, if you don’t get a chance to stop by tonight (6-9pm) and eat some of the goodies I’m bringing and you still want to see the work - you can either stop by at some point in the month of June, or check back at this blog site and photos will be posted!

Ella is Six Months Old!! June 2, 2008

About a week or so ago I had the pleasure of spending a Sunday morning with Jenn, Mike & their beautiful daughter Ella who just turned six-months old!! I am really loving documenting the first year of a child’s life - they grow and change SO much in these early months.

We were able to play in and around their new home and got some really fun shots - Ella is so cute, I could’ve spent all day trying to get more smiles from her! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

While down in Chehalis visiting all of my favorite people I got to meet Baby Ryan! He is such a good little guy, with beautiful blue eyes!! He hung out with us for hours being passed around from girl to girl all while smiling and laughing being so perfect and making everyone want one just like him!!

Shannon & Ryan came back over the next afternoon for a little photo-shoot. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day!

Easter Photo Time! April 9, 2008

You can tell spring is here - because all the girls are wearing those cute dresses and the boys in those super cute pin-striped suits!! Unfortunately that is the only way you can tell spring is here - it is SO cold outside!! But - the day after Easter my favorite tough kids went outside to play just so I could take some photos!!

Welcome to the world baby Michael!!! March 28, 2008

Baby Michael David Stokes was born to Vera & Mickey 2:05am on March 8th, at Swedish in Ballard - (and named after my favorite Dad, Michael David Hull!)

The first few photos in the collage are of us just minutes after the birth and the rest are the next day.

After six super short days, we had our first “real” photo shoot - baby Michael is SO cute!

His favorite activities include sleeping, eating, wiggling, listening to music with Dad and of course playing dress up with THE best big sisters EVER!!

We’ve already taken over 500 photos - so it was hard to narrow it down to this few…. don’t worry your inbox will be full of photos again next week!!

The Hays Family ~ March 7, 2008

Tim & Mellisa have been so supportive of my business over the past few years and also featured many times in my photography work - with their engagement (the actual event… it was SO exciting), their wedding (the most perfect October day) family holiday photos, and now…. to introduce the youngest Hays member - Cooper!! Little Coop will be six months old soon and he is so cute - with TONS of hair and very stylish clothes (love baby clothes with attitude!!).

On Sunday of last week - we headed out to a gorgeous park in Des Moines where Kailani and Mackenzie played the rolls of the most perfect big sisters ever!

The Tate Family ~ January 31, 2008

Lori heard about me through Heather & Janine (featured many times on the blog) at our fabulous Conscious Body Pilates studio in Madison Park. She emailed and said she was looking for some fun artistic family photos (my favorite kind) - she & husband Byron have a beautiful 6 month old named Camber (love the name!) I was so excited to meet Lori and her family - they are fun and beautiful people who live in a beautiful home with lots of natural light. Perfect for those sunny January days where it is MUCH too cold to be outside for longer than two minutes! =)

Eleanor, Hunter and….. September 27, 2007

A couple of weeks ago I spent the afternoon with Eleanor and Hunter (their super cute kitties) and the little bump in Eleanor’s tummy. =) They are so fun and it was so obvious they will be fabulous adoring parents - and since I am so behind in my blogging, you get all of the fun baby details now!!

On September 16th, 7:02am - Hazel Miriam Close - (what a fabulous name!!) was born 9lbs 1oz - they are so good at their blogging, they have everything documented and posted online for friends and family to see!! She has an amazing amount of hair… soooo cute!!

Here are a few of the photos we took just three short weeks before Hazel joined the world!!

(They love their cats as much as I love mine!! They are hilarious too!! This one likes to rest his chin on her shoulder and drools!!!)
